  • @EnglishRyan-- hello... Can i ask you a question? During task 2 essay writing.. If the question is only asking for suggestions and a recommendation, You will not need a conclusion paragraph? is it only.. paragraph 1 - intro....... paragraph 2 body 1- suggestion 1......... paragraph 3body 2- suggestion 2........ paragraph 4 - recommendation......... do i need a paragraph 5? for conclusion.. i always get 6.5 for writing section of the exam.. i always encounter these kinds of questions..

  • @griftah81 Hi griftah81,

You question has me a little confused. What do you mean by 'body 1-suggestion'? By 'suggestion' do you mean 'example' or 'evidence'? Why do you feel that an essay question requesting you to suggest something would not need a concluding paragraph?

If you are a little unclear regarding how to properly structure your IELTS essay, consider reviewing my videos on argument and discussion essay structure.

Sorry that wasn't more help, but I am unsure what you are asking.

  • Thank you so much, mr. Ryan... Honestly, in our country the IELTS cources are so expensive, and thanks to you, maybe I can prepare to the exam without going to anywhere! That is why thank you so much , once again.

  • @EnglishRyan Maybe he is trying to explain the function of each paragraph.

And He asked if he need a more paragraph to make the conclusion totally.

Maybe he think he already have the conclusion in each part of the paragraph so not need to do the conclusion for the whole essay?

  • thanks ryan, these instructions have been very useful to me. I hope for success in your future.

  • thank Ryan, It is very useful for me
