Hi everyone!
Here is my version of Paganini`s Caprice no. 24.played on the Japanese Shamisen. It is still not complete and any feedback/advice is absolutely welcome!
Sorry about the abrupt ending. My camera`s memory card ran out just as I was about to hit the last note but I figured everyone knows what that note is anyway so what the heck... I can`t really play beyond that point anyway.
Someday I hope to be able to play the whole thing.
I am also working on Chopin`s Fantasy Impromptu on the Shamisen.
Anyway Hope you will all enjoy this!
Thats really cool dude, I wish you could have finished the entire piece. The next variation is one of my favorites.

All the notes were notes. That's better than I've been doing so far.

Yes, the original shamisen tuning, (honchoushi) still used for some pieces in the Tsugaru min'yo repertoire and also as the primary tuning in the nagauta style, is root-4th-octave (of root). E.g., C-F-C, D-G-D, etc.
