*Cover* - How Great Is Our God

Hi Chee Mun,

this song demonstrates 16th note comping/strumming/double strums combined with a basic 2-level dynamics (there are 5 types of dynamics you can apply to PnW songs, this one is the easiest of all). We will cover the other dynamics in detail in future lessons. I will show you how to use 32ths n the next lesson.

For this lesson, remember to imagine yourself playing the drums and forget about all the strumming patterns you learnt. Try to use your ears and groove to the music (that you hear on the actual song).

You can also actually just strum lightly and the effect will be different. In a CG setting, the volume is not important. The dynamics is the one you must be able to control.
