  • I lived in Los Angeles in the 1950s. I would go to Broadway every weekend to check what was playing at the theaters. I especially liked the Orpheum and the Los Angeles theaters, but they were all charming. I worked at the Million Dollar building upstairs about 1981 on a movie called 48 Hours. We used a side entrance. Great video.

  • The city should preserve the theaters instead of letting them be used by Churches, Dance clubs and what not. There are many parts of downtown LA that look nice. Broadway isn't one of them! Broadway and some of the surrounding streets look terrible (compared to what they looked like half a century ago).
