HD Trailer for new book in Summer 2009 by photographers Charles Cramer, Karl Kroeber, Scot Miller, Mike Osborne and Keith S. Walklet.

Ansel Adams led regular trips into the Yosemite backcountry as part of his efforts to protect this rare instance of untouched nature and, as a result, introduced thousands to its beauty. Following his example, the Yosemite Fund asked five well-known Yosemite photographers to once again bring the wonders of the wilderness to the general public.

For five years, these five photographers spent a part of their summers in Yosemite's wilderness region, which covers more than one thousand square miles of almost indescribable raw beauty, and the camaraderie that developed between them is evident in the reminiscences and musings that accompany their photographs. The result of this uncommon collaboration is a book of glorious prints, each imbued with its creator's distinct style.

  • made my day!!! thanks webmovietube

  • An excellent book with some good technical notes in it from all five photos. I love it.

  • Beautiful! These guys make me smile. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work in support of The Yosemite Fund and for your great love of Yosemite.

  • There are no tips to being an artist... you either get it or not...

Owning a fry pan does not make you a chef...

10,000 hours of rehearsal time will get you up there with the best... there is no short cut.... like stopping at a best buy to get a $5000 camera is not going to help you.... You have to work at it.

  • Beautiful! Wouldn't you love to be a fly on one of those cameras!

  • beautiful pictures, give us some tips to take great pictures like that!

  • The photos are stunning and inspiring. Good work, team!

  • Great job Scot! Beautiful work! Can't wait to see it in person!
