you need to have some leeward heel to help the boat up into the wind.

@Iamnotaemo i sail in the us, and have been in a regatta when it was blowing 35. also i sailed a regatta in italy, and it was blowing 45. niether were cancelled. lastly if you think you and new zealand are soo good at sailing why have you'all not won any "sailor of the year" awards for a while.
ps- 4 meter waves are not that big.

we do get sun in summer but winter not so much god when we were in those 4 meter waves we got out to the corse and it was 6 km straight out to sea against the waves and they were breaking it was insane then comming bac with the spinnikers up we were flying

Ya, but where we live, we know what the sun looks like =p lol. No I know, I'm 14 and the most wind I've ever sailed in is like 20-22 knots in CFJ Nationals. I live in the Orange County and sail around 7-12 knots normally, but it's always fun just to cruise. =)

the seond type of roll tack is better
not true. a well done roll tack WILL propel your boat. I've done it many times. Have you ever pumped your boat on a day without wind? its essentially the same concept, of course roll tacks work.

you are using far to much rudder you need to use less then you will be pointing higher and coming out of the tack quicker
