My Cat pets also known as Dusty, the Scottish cat was a funny creature of wild life indeed, I caught the blackcat inside the bathroom sink getting up to mischief. The pet house cat also liked to walk across the top of cars and play suicide in the middle of the road. Ironically, that's how his fate ended. I loved Dusty, my cat as a pet. It was like having a friend beside you that you could always rely on, perhaps because I couldn't understand cats language. If I did though, I'm sure we would be just as good friends as we were. I'm not mad, you've got to love your pet animals.

The black cats known in the common family as the domestic or house pet the cat. It's a small mammal treasured by humans for it's companionship and it's useful skill of being able to hunt vermin and pests around the household. Humans have associations about animals and cats going all the way back to 9,500 years and are at present, the most popular pet in the world and within the British household within the United Kingdom. They can be found practically anywhere around the globe.

So what about cats house pets?

They have strong and flexible bodies, quick reflexes, sharp claws (trust me on this), and teeth (they can be sharp too), useful for killing small prey wildlife and also waking humans up I might add. They are nocturnal predators who use their hearing and ability to see in the dark to locate their prey animals. Cats can also hear sounds which are higher in frequency than humans can ever hear. This is because they have evolved to hear these sounds since small mice creatures make similar noises. Despite this, they rely much more on smell than humans.

Despite Cats being a solitary animal, they use a variety of vocal noises and body language to communicate which includes meowing, purring, trilling, hissing, growling and grunting. Their rate of breeding is high and most pets in a cat house are neutered. The failure of carying out this task is that many bred in the thousands where they become abadoned from former household pet sitting owners.

Cats are not without their problems. They can suffer from diseases such as parasites, injuries and cronic disease.

Various cat noises mean different things. Here's some examples some of which are in this video of animals:

A short meow means a standard greeting. Multiple meows means an excited greeting. A mid pitch meow is a plea for something while a drawn out meow is a demand for something like pet games. A low pitch meow is a complaint of displeasure while a high pitched meow is of anger, pain or being fearful. If you hear the Cat chattering it's teeth, it's either reallt excited or frustrated. A purr is it's way of inviting close contact or attention while a hiss is a serious sign of aggression, you might hear Dusty purr in this video animals clip.

Various body languages are something to watch out for as well in this animals video. If it's tail is straight up with a curl at the end then it is happy. Itf it's twitching it's either excited or anxious. If it's tail vibrates, it is very excited to see you. If it's really angry, it's tail fur will stick in the air. If it's tail is tucked under the rear it's very frightened.

Cat games are enjoying rubbing against you which means they are marking you as their own. If the cat taps it's west nose with you, it's a affectionate gesture. Ears are back when it's scared or anxious or then again it also means that it's in a very playful mood.

If it head butts you as Dusty liked to, it actually means it's being friendly and affectionate. Face sniffing means to confirm your identity. Cats may drive their claws in and out of you as a sign of happiness or playfulness. If it licks you then it's the ultimate sign of trust.

You can talk back to your Cat too according to a cat rescue source which interestingly looking back at Dusty, he did exactly that. If you use the phrases Sleep or Bed, the cat usually follows or is there before you. If you blink slowly when making eye contact with the Cat, it will respond by coming over to be petted as it's a non threatening gesture.

So how do you get the Cat to sleep with you?

Before going to bed, play with your Cat for a while to make it feel tired. Let it rest for about ten minutes then feed it so that it won't be hungry. You can introduce your Cat to the room and make it as comfortable as possible. You may also want to give it a blanket to sleep on although like Dusty, he disliked this and preferred the bed covers.

For training your Cat to use the litter properly, you need to do the following:

Purchase a litter pan, litter and a scooper. Then find the proper location for the litter pan which is usually hidden behind furniture when they have to go potty. Warning! Don't put it near your entetainment centre.
