I thought it is Allah who guided me to Islam. I guess it was demons. But why would demons convince me to worship God, do good deeds and avoid sins?

@qwertyfshag These folks are very ignorant of many things including their own religion. It's not surprising that they don't know much about about Islam. They follow anti-Islamic talking points created by people who make money from bashing Islam. That helps them feel good about their religious insecurities.
