@jokamund Well it's just the fact that there aren't many games on Mac compared to PC. I like Mac more than PC but I have both because I also like gaming on a computer.

I'm not a gamer, and I still prefer PC. I have owned both a Mac and a PC in my life, and it's easier to tell which one is better.

@aliendude5300 Which just re-enforces my point that DirectX had very little to do with MS's dominance in the PC gaming market. Saying that Apple should sue MS for using DirectX is so profoundly moronic that I'm surprised that the1tigglet can even breathe on his own.

@DerFrederick Just for the record, there is no real advantage of DirectX over the leading competing API (OpenGL). In fact, I prefer OpenGL because it's cross-platform compatible.

You're full of crap. The reason why developers make games for Windows is because... shock horror! It's the better platform!

heard this argument for years let me clarify for the factually impared. The ONLY reason mac has fewer games is due to the monopoly over the Direct X SDK that microsoft originally marketed to gain a foothold in the gaming pc market. That is the only reason. Apple and others should have sued Microsoft during the monopoly herrings to release yet another monopoly that MS has on the computing world. Now that macs are intel they should sue again.
