  • Great stuff. Nice to hear a ladies voice on a m/cycle Vlog! (and a familiar accent. How'd you end up in the states?)

How do you find the Fuji? What sort of recording time can you get on one charge/SD card?

I've been playing with a wee Sanyo Xacti which I like but external mount only.

I love your horses too! I really love horses but they scare the bazeesus out of me! I learned to ride on a Welsh Mountain Pony, he was very patient :)

Feel free to check some of my vids too ...

  • G'day Peeteey,

Absolutely love your vids - very inspirational ideas for cameras & motorcycles! Have another Sony cam I'll mount on the front and back of my bike for group riding.

I like the Fuji a lot - fits in the helmet great & records voice for vblog. It'll record up to the capacity of the memory card - got an 8GB card, records over 200 minutes! Battery will die just before that tho.

Ended up in the states by meeting and marrying a nice guy from Oregon. :-) Still call Australia 'home' tho!

  • check out ashfoot

  • Nice job, dahlink!

Ok- so it took me a while to comment...

I'm starting to get the method of your madness! Great vid and insight.

  • Heya! Nice first video! I watched your vid about your helmet cam setup, I just bought a camera to do similar things, dont know if it'll fit as well, but at £19 off ebay it was a bargain. Another good thing about full face helmets is they actually protect you!! When I crashed, I remember thinking "I'm so glad I got a full face helmet" as my visor and chinpiece were scraping along the tarmac at about 60mph. I was totally fine! If it had been open face.. lord, I dont even wanna think about it!

  • nice bike and good ride:D

  • Sure thing! I'll try to take some video of my setup and post that tonight. I made some minor adjustments to the padding inside the chin area on my helmet to make the mounting area flatter and the camera lens more level than it was in this video. I made no other changes to my helmet. I used a Fujifilm FinePix Z10fd 10mp compact digital camera - the lens doesn't extend out of the camera body, so it sits pretty flush.

  • Nice video. My b/f is an avid HD rider, and I ride on the back as another set of eyes. You're right, the cars aren't used to looking for bikers.
