@THEGEA1 ya... that sucks.. cause of germs and all... plastic and ceramic doesn't absorb them like wood does...but what if they sold seats with a thick lacquer?

@eagle8458 Sorry, but i do not carve toilet seats anymore. There are no solid wood toilet lids around that I can purchase to do the carving. Our apologies.
