What a great opportunity to own a fabulous young horse on the brink of a promising career! This 7 year old thoroughbred gelding is at the perfect age and point in his training to bring your son or daughter many blues both over fences and under saddle in the Children's Hunter division. He would also be suited for a small adult ready for the Adult Amateur division.
"Bay" is currently jumping solid 3' courses with the scope and talent for 3'6". Despite his size, he easily gets down the lines and has auto changes in both directions. He has proven extremely brave over both traditional hunter fences, old style hunter derby jumps, and cross country courses. He has a solid flatwork foundation, comes easily on the bit and moves off the leg laterally.
He has competed at unrecognized events in the Novice division and extensively at local hunter shows. Bay received blue ribbons this past summer under nationally reknowned judge Joe Darby out of a division of over 15 horses. He also competed all year and qualified for the CESHS Hunter Derby Finals ultimately finishing 5th out of the top 12 invited. Expect ribbons in every hack class with this excellent flat kneed mover.
He has been trail ridden extensively, hacked out, and fox hunted first flight several times per season showing excellent manners in a group of horses and while standing at the checks.
Always consistent, athletic, and smart...this guy is your next star. He just needs his own person with which to excel.
