Mike Brady's architectural firm has asked him to check on the construction of a building he has designed located in Hawaii, and his boss generously allows him to bring the whole family along (including Alice), all expenses paid, so that they can enjoy a nice vacation. When Bobby finds an ancient Tiki idol at the construction site, he is unaware that the idol brings a curse upon all who touch it! As a result, bad luck begins to plague the Bradys. Don Ho guest stars as himself in this episode.

Maybe they had a hair salon on that United DC8 so that Mike could have had his hair permed on the way to Hawaii.In the first scene it is straight, when he lands he looks like Shirley Temple.

I saw this when it originally aired and I was about 5. I was totally freaked out by the ending and have remembered it ever since. It still gives me goose bumps when he falls off the surf board.

I was beginning to think this episode wasn't good until 20:57 when Bobby said, "Hey Greg, wait!" So funny. Made whole episode worth it.

This was absolutely the best of all of the episodes of this entire show. I enjoyed so much as a kid. And yes, I had a crush on Maureen McCormick! What guy who liked the show didn't? Great video!

At least Florence was a T.V. Mom that didn't mind showing her body compared to some moms on T.V. It makes me so mad today when the go on a trip and you always see them covered up......
