Scary Flight

High mountain winds and a larger chute made this my scariest flight in 7 years of flying. I landed in front of a school 45 miles from airport.

@TnEMTP18325 LOL! Yea, that was quite possibly the worst landing in my aviation career. I wasnt hurt though. good shocks I guess. My pride a little maybe. I know what I did wrong. I flared too soon and it dropped me. Looking back I could have landed without turning off the engine. I think I just wanted to get on the stinking ground!

Gene, Gene, the dancing machine! Man, you were just rockin'-and-a-rollin' up there eh? We all have flights like these now and then, just gotta muscle through it and put it back on the ground soon as you can safely. There's no fun in flying these things when you're fightin' the winds the whole time and no one is passing out trophy's if you do. Glad you made it back down safe Bro.
