Offshore Sheepshead Fishing with Capt. Richie Lott: http://www.richielottoutdoors.com
Sheepshead Fishing, how to catch Sheepshead. Sheepshead fishing offshore can be more productive than inshore sheepshead fishing. Fishing for Sheepshead is fun and the fish are great to eat. Sheepshead Fishing is available nearly year round in Georgia waters.

  • Up on Hatteras shrimp doesn't work on Oregon Inlet. Most of the time neither do the one clawed wonders. I have had luck up there with mainly sand fleas (mole crabs) or mussels that you scrape off of the pilings and clump on the hook. I have also had luck with crab in July when the big ones come...

  • @klaviernista Yeah, i head that about NC. You can buy the mussles in the can and people have had decent sucess with them if they are hard to come by up that way. If the sand fleas are easy to get, I bet you prefer them.... I would have to have that meat bait, though. They love anything they can crack open and get a prize.. Even Barnacles.. Love catchin; some sheepies!

  • Can anybody give me any tips for sheeps head fishing? I fish in florida.

  • @wolfmanorfisherman yeah, I can help ya out.... go to my channel, add me as a freind, then send me a personal message with your email included and I will send you a how to article I wrote on Sheepshead fishing a while back. it is very informative and talks about tackle and rigging as well.

  • Looks like fun. I miss saltwater fishing. I lived in south florida and pulled in big sheepshead all the time. biggest was 26inchs. no scale to weigh but it was big..

and contrary to the guy who said sheepshead not good there great..

  • @MrPglewis77 Yeah, i agree... They are nearly the table fare of Snapper in many ways, especially the texture and the FIGHT. They do taste a little different, but they are excellent contrary to what most people believe.....

  • Found a way to catch sheapshead. Throw a casting net near some mossy rocks close to shore. I did it once and brought up a 30 pounder

  • Im tired of the term "Trash Fish" you are fishing. Be thankfull that youre catching something, Just because you cant eat it doesnt mean its worthless or an inconvenienc its just there to keep you from getting bored. Its not like if you dont catch a good eating fish then youll starve we have supermarkets for that and if you want fresh fish go to a fishmarket. Fishing is about having fun not having a brain anurism because you snagged a lizzard or a pinfish. ranting aside good vid great fishing.

  • first fish was a sand perch and those are great eating btw, like snapper

  • is there a species of sheepshead that is silver

  • can you use artifical?

  • Sheephead has gotta be the tastiest fish ever.

  • OMG Facts!
