Retailers' stores thinly stocked; profits won't be
By MAE ANDerSON, AP Retail Writer Mon Dec 28, 4:25 pm ET
ATLANTA Retailers have thin inventories after coming out of Christmas with slightly better-than-expected sales.
Some retailers kept inventory so low they've had to bring in new merchandise to restock shelves, a rare move this soon after Christmas.
The story was available at Yahoo! News.

What shame that our economy is still built on consumerism.
Nothing has changed and we haven't learned a f*cking thing.
All Americans are looking forward to is hitting that shopping mall! Forget building an actual economy and real economic change...that might be difficult and we couldn't shop for all that crap they we love so much.
The Corps have us bought and paid for like good little mall Zombies.

It's the Christmas season so shopping has picked up and we have seen more discounts.

Exactly. The retailers are offering good deals for the season. The late winter may get a bit lean.

noooo does this mean the USD will rise in value

These retail sales are mostly in part due to Sarah Palin's EPICALLY SUCCESSFUL book tour. This book tour will help ensure her place in the White House in 2012 and be America's GREATEST POTUS of ALL TIMES! Under Palin's astute and sharp leadership, the economy will become more stronger and robust than ever before!
the deep breathe before the plunge .... thats all these gains are...
