Restore Ovi Store on your Nokia N8 tutorial

This video shows you how to restore your Ovi store.

All you need is
1. Nokia Qt Package from wiki.forum.nokia (consist Nokia Qt 4.6 and Nokia Qt 4.7)
2. Nokia Qt SDK
3. USB Cable
4. And your Nokia N8

@ubuntulinuxrules TBH, i dun hate symbian BUT I hate nokia handle the symbian. it has POTENTIAL but they did not see it. hence low spec, old fashion UI and on verge of death. thanks to mr elop of coz, nokia is going down. *meego is nice but they killed it

I tried searching blogs on how to fix it but non of them work.. This afternoon, i click the software update on my N8 and surprisingly there's ovi store listed and I updated my phone accordingly hoping that it will fix the issue. After 2mins - it is SUCCESFUL - it was installed and when I click the icon for ovi store, it ask me to get the new version and I can t believe that after 6 months NOKIA release an update to fix this issue... THANKS ALOT Nokia.

i do 11 steps from u blog as just u guide after that i cant understand what can i doo what is Ovi Sote as u written in ur blog????after 11 step i just install ovi store it is unable to install

everything works fine for me it's just when i download it ovi store it installs it and gets me back to same website to download it WOTHEFOCK?

Can you please post links to all the necessary software that we need to install? I can't find the Qt package on the website. And I have the original Qt SDK installed but I don't get that folder when I go into my start menu.

guys there is a device update for n8 and it also includes an ovi store update too maybe it will solve ur problem

I was unable to install the openGL package as it displays an "expired certificate" error.

I have installed the rest tho , i tried installing the 4.6 packages first , then 4.7 but without any succes. The OVI store won't install.

Damn man , i hope ANNA will change something..
