@kristinhege1 - Save your new image as a .png file. When viewing it in an image program on your computer it will still have a white background but when viewing on the web it will have a transparent background. Hope this helps.

This really helped me a ton, but I need help with one thing. Once I have greated the logo how do I save just the logo? When I created mine I made the background transparent, but when I try to put it on a colored background it is still with a white box. Is there anyway to save just the object? Im new to PS if you cant tell :)
