Hoax believers represent the lowest of human intelligence, conscious, but not much more than that.

In other words, a bunch of idiots with no scientific proof or understanding of technology or physics. But stupid bellyaching paranoiacs always scream the loudest, don't they?

Why don't the hoaxers just talk to the Apollo guys, and with respect of course. They will talk to you and they are really neat guys.

It's not just maturity, but the ones who go on to become pilots and commanders require a great deal of piloting experience.

For complex maneuvers like orbital rendezvous or lunar landing, you'd definately want a seasoned pilot.

He said "lunar orbit," not earth orbit, he got it right. It's just faint so it's hard to hear.

Great man. It's amazing that he got to travel to the moon twice. Orbited the moon on 10 and landed on 17, awesome.

An excellent comment from Cernan about youth and maturity. Most astronauts are selected long after age 30 and the top ones are into their 50s. Simply put, exuberance is NOT a good quality on a space flight, except in learning how to take orders and operate your craft.

My guess is the first person to revisit the Moon may have been selected in the early 2000s NASA group.
