U.S. Army Spc. Clayton McGarrah of Harrison, AR was laid to rest today at Maplewood Cemetery. The footage begins with the Patriot Guard motorcycle convoy and the hearse leaving the First Assembly of God Church. The Patriot Guard is a group of motorcyclists who are often invited to military funerals when the Westboro Baptist Church threatens to protest. The cowards at WBC threatened to show in Harrison, but were scared away by the Patriot Guard and the enormous support for the McGarrah family by the community. The rest of this video shows a small piece of that support along the procession route on the way to the cemetery. This touched me so much I just had to share it. God bless America.

  • Thank you for posting this video. Very well done.

It may sound dumb, however as a Veteran myself, it is nearly impossible not to want to stand at attention and salute...

God Bless... Rest in Peace Brother...

  • God Bless soldier. Im sorry.

  • @trevorhirby I used to live in Conway and I'd still do just about anything to go back. I'm glad to see it's still the same. The town I live in now, not enough people care about the war. They just shrug their shoulders. It makes me happy to know that at least it still matters somewhere.

  • This video made me cry like a baby. Rest in Peace Spc. McGarrah.

  • I live in Conway Arkansas. Ive been all over Arkansas and I can honestly say that if they protested someone's funeral here, well it'd be the last protest they ever made. Too many Arkansans are die hard supporting troops to let them protest a soldiers funeral.

  • Rest in Peace Clayton. Thank you for your Service to our Country. God Bless you, and God Bless the Patriot Guard. May his family be comforted by the love of many.

  • thank you for posting this....it was an honor to stand for this fallen hero and his family...

  • We are left to celebrate and remember his life on this world, for he has been called home.

    Rest in Peace, Clayton
