  • Ok, I have to ask. What is it?

Forgive my ignorance. My guess is the secret

location for plans to destroy the death star.

Oh wait... That doesn't happen for another 1000 years from now...

  • GeoCaching is a worldwide GPS treasure hunt! Most cities and towns have a few. My area has over 300 hidden! Either use a gps or google maps. Each cache varies in size and the bigger ones have items inside that you can take (as long as you leave one of your own). Items vary, anything from toys to DVD's. They also contain a log book where you write your name and date. It's a very fun hobby if you like treasure hunts!

  • GeoCachers, ever find any like this? Also, what was your favorite type of cache?

  • In plain sight.

  • I've found about 3 of these types. pretty creative! But i want something BIGGER

  • come to the netherlands, most caches here are hidden in creative ways, cause there are simply not many remote hidingplaces. The caches here are awesome

  • Whats the geocode asap!

  • @tronflynn3 There was one similar to this in a nearby park. It's not there any more... the original hider didn't upkeep it.

  • @TheEdTV Actually Star Wars takes place "a long time ago" ;)

  • I have found one like this, but it was a magnetic key holder and not tied. When replacing the cache, we dropped it down the fence post and had to find some long metal to fish the keyholder back out. Tying it to the post cap is much smarter!

  • @tronflynn3 my area has over 1000 Geo Caches

  • Ive seen about 50 geocaches like these on youtube and found about 15 in real life...It is a creative hide, but maybe becoming a bit overrated.

  • nice cache seen ones like this but not on a string, also saw one with a string cept it was not a fence cap.

  • sneaky.............sneaky, clever hide!

  • @tronflynn3 Not like this. My favorite are ammo cans.

  • Dang... Nice hiding place... I bet it was put by an asian who died after leaving in a car accident

NOTE : ASIANS ARE BAD AT DRIVING!

NOTE : I'm asian...So... RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WHEN I GET MY LICENSE IN A FEW YEARS!

  • really clever

  • I've found plenty of those. I like them

  • Pretty sure I've found that one, or at least one like it in the area. I know I've found the clever rock one you posted. Took a couple trips to finally realize just where that one was at.

  • @TheEdTV No that happened a Long Time Ago....

  • These are all over the place, very common as an urban hide. In fact, just found one yesterday and another earlier today. Those are "chainlink fence post" hides, and are very common along with "LPC"s (light-post cache, hidden under the "skirt" of a lightpost) and GRC's (Guard Rail Caches, hidden in highway or street guard rails).

  • thats it im doing one like this. please send me a personal message of what i need and how to do it. thank you. i subscribed

  • That's so cool!

  • @TheEdTV well actually it happens in the past ;p

  • @AdamTheGood Most of the ones I know are very fit.

  • I made the same one!

  • I love the creative hides. I've seen some disguised as a bolt, one inside a fake rock, and one person even welded a new base to a light post to hide a cache inside.

  • geo caching is coo, but for some reason a lot of geo cachers i've seen are over weight. I figured they'd would be in pretty good shape being out there walking around looking for caches. Maybe they decide to start as a form of exercise?
