Oh yeah and pikachu doesn't have to be in the fight but you HAVE to select him to battle. Basicly 2 battlers and 1 piece of dead weight

it took me several tries to achieve this and it didn't work! i used pikachu as one of me 3 choices everytime, it wasn't registered, what have i done wrong? i haven't finished the other R2 cups, would that be it?

@Frankie7595 Pikachu does have to participate. I'm not sure about the rest because I never owned the game. I just played it like twice at my cousin's house and he did it.
