Gagan Grewal's Jalebi challenge - London Mela 2008 - BBC Asian Network

So the challenge that was set for Gagan to make a jalebi in the shape of the Asian Network logo.

The jalebi stand guys kindly let him have a go and after a bit of observing the masters, he went for it. Its sort of similar to icing a cake, really, in terms of squirting the ingredients from a bag with a hole in it into hot oil. Ever wanted to know what makes a jalebi so orange?
