  • Wow, man... Wondrous sounds from two of my most favorite synthesizers, the JD-800 and the K5000. I don't have a DX-7II but I have two TG77s, which I think kicks it up a notch. These sounds of yours are splendidly in orbit. Well done.

  • Have you ever had MIDI-freezes controlling the 5000R with your DX? I have the DX11 and it tends to give my E-mu B-3 stuck notes so I never use it that way anymore. Later I read that the DX line was notorious for freezing or stuck notes when coupled with other equipment, especially newer more sophisticated equipment such as this.
