My soldier is just gone at basic training for now but we just started talking a few months ago and its so hard with him being gone our first Christmas and New Years together :( praying for all of the soldiers protecting our beautiful country <3

I dont have a boyfriend or a husband that is over seas, but i do know what it is like to have someone you love gone for the holidays. A Few years ago my USMC Brother was overseas for Christmas, and it was a sad Christmas. Happy Holidays from Washington to everyone whether or not they are here or across seas.

Heard this on the radio yesterday. Whew. it got me! I was driving and fighting back the tears. My husband is here this year, but won't be next year. I have friends who have husbands over right now. It's so hard. Love this song!
