@TheWuzzy I agree with you, i really hate when people say, oh man your generation is retarded you wouldn't like a movie like this cause your just a stupid fucking kid. And yes im talking to you @imori0848 what you said is very condescending, and just makes you look like a huge prick. So what the kid likes to watch modern movies? Its not his fault that he didn't like this movie, but that doesn't give you the right to be an asshole.Like for me im a 31 and i hated the godfather.

@ourargumentblog yeah! I read somewhere he made files for each of the 7, like some sort of personal hisotry, with who they were, where they came from, but also fave food, and fun stuff like that, that wasn't even in the script. Kurosawa was a pro.

And you said this movie is different from the reality, but it is MISTAKE.
Many japanese historians said this movie's background research is perfect,
and some military officer said the tactics of Samurai in the movie is very realistic.
So "Seven Samurai" is very CLOSE TO REALITY.
I propose you to study history more and think deeply what is "REALITY".

I heard of this movie long ago, but was disappointed for it to be in black and white (and the length, 3 hours!) but now that I've grown up a bit, I'm ready to watch this epic. It looks really good actually.
