So, as many know the old Xbox 360 had many Red Ring of death problems. Upon the arrival of the new Xbox's they have completely removed the red "rings." They have however, left one little red light in the center. How did this happen? I wanted to play some music through my XBOX, so I plugged in my 4th Generation Touch. Upon plugging it in to either one of the two USB ports on the front of the Xbox the Xbox would completely freeze. I then had to turn it off by pressing the power button. I then tried to turn it back on and I see this. The same thing happened when I used my friend's iPod. I fixed this by unplugging the iPod cord, unplugging the Xbox 360 and plugging the Xbox back in.

@MrPingypop12 Here are the failure rates of all of the major consoles.Xbox 360 failure rate 23.7% (This was the original Xbox, the new Slim is supposed to be way more stable) , PS3 10%, Wii 2.7%. I hope that helps. These results were from 2009.

@cateye27 Some people thought the Red Ring of Death was caused by their games.. Btw I'm getting a PS3 for Christmas 320GB how much chance does it have of overheating?

@MrPingypop12 Exactly! So was the Red Ring of Death. The problem with them was that it could get stuck like this.

@cateye27 YLOD is just a light that warns you that your console is overheated. I think.

@wescoolya I'm not trying to act like a "know it all." I just was thanking him for the explanation. I'm only human, I didn't know that it would do this, therefor, I made a video. I doubt that everyone with an Xbox 360 Slim knows this, because all of my friends had no idea. I have actually had the Shuffle work with the Xbox, in fact, I believe that almost any Apple device not running iOS should work. This can be changed with a Cydia tweak. Thanks for the comment!

@cateye27 Regardless you shouldent act like a know it all and research your problems before posting a pointless vid. Everyone with a slim knows that the nano only works with the xbox.

@TheJimboy71 I really don't want to get into a whole Xbox vs. PS3 war but... Are you aware that the PS3 get's a thing called the yellow light of death? Are you aware that there is a very simple solution to fix this very problem? It took a few seconds to download, and now I have never seen this light again. Are you aware that all I had to do was unplug, and plug it back in to fix it? It really does not matter though, just stating facts. Each of the consoles has weaknesses, and strengths.

this is why i like my ps3 more then my xbox 360 slim

@jmlpc1 Thanks for the information! I'm currently trying a Cydia tweak to fix this. If that doesn't work I'll just put it on a flash drive. Regardless, Microsoft really should fix this.
