Covering

Contradictions in thinking regarding female body hair stem not only from societal ideals, but also from patriarchal teachings. The head seems to be separated from the body in this definition of acceptable hair on the body. Is this just another way of detaching identity from the female?

aw - don't be sad rachelallencamus! Patriarchal teachings trickle down into all of these crazy societal ideas we have about how women should be. It's not to say that 1 Corinthians tells women how to wear their leg hair. It's just one example of the patriarchal hair police that affects us.

1 Corinthians speaks specifically about the covering of the HEAD. Obviously long, flowing robes and dresses are what is required of Christian women to cover their legs and other body parts, not their leg hair! Your video is tangential, irrelevant, and I'm sad to say silly.
