A service call that started out as a fan motor change, but grew into a more extensive issue.

  • @eddhelms1984 1. It was on the vapor line at the condenser. 2. The superheat was around 30 (going from memory). 3. The pressure was high (It was hot outside and inside). 4. Yes. 5. Right to work state (NC).

  • Wheres your thermalcouple what was the superheat ? Subcooling , approach on the condenser. All he says is high pressure. Did u install a new filterdrier. Thats why people pay more for union workmenship.

  • @tstatech thanks for the compliments, I appreciate them. It is a tough road. You never know if the "no cool" call is a blown cap or a refrigerant leak or even a locked compressor. Hard to estimate those various scenarios. Thanks, again, man.

  • Good job brother. You're a man of good conscience. The life of an HVAC tech is no life. There's always more work to do and little time for anything else. You're customers are lucky to have you.

    Keep it up.
