Now if they had done that on the Soil Hill Button movie we would all have been left behind >>Most of the English bigware throwers used Steel ribs for more torque by the way . For XX xestreem throwing !!! All the very best and great work !! Guy

I was just thinking to myself it might be a good idea to use a wooden rib to pull that amount of clay ,when one appeared. great minds think alike,.... good stuff !! That looked like fun!!

Those were some fatty K.P.'s. Nice work! (Knuckle Pull). Needs work on the finishing tho.

good job on this one, that;'s a lot of clay. Now I have to give it a go... Good to see someone else all covered in the clay they are working.

Thanks Mark. I'm a really messy worker! I think that this is down to experience, when I watch the expert Japanese they are always spotless!

The wheel is a bit fast in the beginning for me . Bigger the pot the slower the wheel. Also I would try to cone in a bit more before the second pull when you are going for a taller pot. Think of the early pushing in of the clay as a preparation time for the big lift . Really great third pull !!! Great rib work .
You are doing great!! Setting up for a bottle think of the collaring in as a moving arch sitting on top of a dome . Amazing how strong a push you can give it when using an arched line. G

Thanks for your feedback G. The reason the wheel is fast is because I doubled the speed of the video to cut down on the size of the upload! Thank you for your tips they are fantastically useful.
