The game isn't that bad on the PS2. The problem that people have with it is that it is different than the version on the Xbox360 and the PS3.
The Wii and the PS2 versions are more like the Ghostbusters cartoons which was titled The Real Ghostbusters, and the Xbox360 and the PS3 versions are more like the movies.

This game is phenominally dissapointing on the PS2 by the way. Just a heads-up. Stick with the next-gen or PC version.
