My older brother is Daniel too. After my brother went away to college, I'd hear this song and cry. Then he moved to another state, and the song still can make me cry. It still makes me melancholy. Hands down, this is Sir Elton's most moving song.

I've always loved this song and recently we lost my brother Daniel. This is the song that we will play at his rosary and funeral mass. Sir John Elton sang this song with such powerful emotions. He was our last brother left.
