MEET JAQUEL KNIGHT

JaQuel Knight is quickly becoming one of the top requested choreographers in the business today known as the "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" man behind Beyoncй single for which she won the 2009 BET Video of the Year Award choreographed by JaQuel and Frank Gatson Jr. He received recognition for the choreography thought to be "genius and innovative." He went on to choreograph Beyoncй single "Diva" from the "I Am...Sasha Fierce" album as well as part of her 2009 "I am..." world tour.

Recognizing his work with Beyoncй, JaQuel was recruited by artistic director Jamie King, who has worked with Madonna, The Spice Girls, and Celine Dion to name a few, to co-choreograph for Britney Spears' 2009 "The Circus" World Tour.

His background consists of working with established choreographers such as Chuck Maldonado, Dave Scott, Brian Friedman and Shane Sparks at the age of 14. After graduating high school in 2007, he moved to LA and booked his first job with noted choreographer Fatima Robinson only one week after his arrival for a principal role in P. Diddy's music video "Diddy Rock." He has danced with artist such as Janet Jackson, Gnarls Barkley, DJ UNK, and Soulja Boy. His first solo project was choreographing the promo tour for the single "We Break the Dawn" for recording artist Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child.

His most recent work was choreographing The Dreams' "Walking On the Moon" for his 2009 summer tour with Keyshia Cole, choreographing and coaching the top 10 contestants for the 2009 American Idol Tour, and working with Mattel creating the "Barbie Dance" for the "Do the Barbie" music video for Barbie's 50th Anniversary.

JaQuel's film credits include scenes from Hannah Montana: The Movie with Jamal Sims and from a new Nickelodeon series with Chuck Maldonado.

JaQuel has expanded his experience oversees to the European and Oceania markets by working as an instructor in the countries of Cyprus and New Zealand.
