and he was exhausted by that time... just sick game of him. He really had a mission to make sure Dallas did not lose at home... gave everything for it.

@dallasfan4177 San Antonio did the same thing. They played him straight up and he gets 36 on 12-14 shooting. Then after that, they started to double more. It was a smart strategy by Karl though, I agree. Especially with the lack of firepower we had around Dirk. It was just impressive that he was scoring on the block against their best defenders at will

@mistervaldosta21 well george karl actually played the mavs smart he knew if they didnt double teamed and played d on everybody only dirk would score like 35 caus hes that good. He knew if they played good d on everyone else dirk would be there only way to win which doesnt work in the playoffs
