  • this is the shittiest fucking quality

  • Also loce how you could never take this car out in the rain or else your fucked. Ahh sts smh

  • Ahhh how I hate watching shows like this makes everything look so easy lol!

  • If you bought the v8 turbo kit from STS what would you need to do for it to fit the 3.8 v6. I wanna turbo my Camaro with a rear mount turbo and I've seen a couple people do it on here to the v6 but no one has answered

  • @BmxDieseldude ive owned turbo'ed rides - thinking about doing it to my c5 now (thus watching STS videos). i dont think the GNX's were ever bov'ed from the factory? im familiar with recirculating them - i actually recirculated my HKS to quiet it down. but i've seen cars built up aftermarket with plenty of money in the car with no BOV. i always just assumed they knew something i didnt!

  • @eclypse256 it's not that they don't have them, but that they are designed to be quiet rather than to shout "look at me". (unless they use recirculation systems like audi/vw where the air is redirected back into the intake before the turbo) same idea - the air just needs to escape to somewhere where it doesn't build up between the throttle body an turbine, because that slows it's rotation suddenly which does damage) I wasn't trying to be a dick, just educating. that did sound ass-ish

  • @BmxDieseldude i never disagreed. there are plenty of factory cars that dont come with a BOV, though. maybe it has to do with the size of the turbos, dunno.

  • @eclypse256 uh, if you let off the gas - throttle body closes - gasses build up jamming up the flow - slowing/stopping turbine spin - busting turbo's.... any gas powered piston engine on the road that's getting a turbo should have a way of relieving the back pressure built when the throttle body closes.

  • @BmxDieseldude i wouldnt skimp, but due to the fact that (dying tranny aside) auto's arent going to miss a shift and if you've turbo'ed, will likely be tuned to shift very quckly, it's not AS necessary. i wouldnt go without either though.

  • @kemardrakes If that was the case, how the hell could they sell any of these or even get the patent?? It rains everywhere!!
