  • You're right, that's basically what's happening. But considering the CVT does it for you...seamlessly at that, and most drivers seem to prefer automatics these days, I think it work well.

  • wait you dont even look that tall but it looks like your head has no room ...is this true?

  • @jfdyj I'm about 5' 8", but I tend to raise my seat quite a bit. This model was equipped with the moonroof, which cuts down on headroom some, but its about average.

  • Great review ... simple and informative

  • thanks for watching!

  • When I have Money I will buy me all these cars. They are the most fuel efficient Hybrid cars in the market right now.

    1. Honda Civic Hybrid.

    2. Ford Fusion Hybrid.

    3. Chevrolet Volt Plug-in Hybrid.

    4. Toyota Prius Plus-in Hybrid.

  • @Greendude33 WOW. you do know that that these new hybrid systems for ford are exported out of japan...talk about being a "american."

The reason why american cars are getting better is because they are getting help from european and japanese auto makers. Like GM from germany and China. And Ford from Japan and Mazda.

America is just a bunch of copiers.

  • Thanks for such a thorough review.

  • what about the battery lifetime? when do they have to be replaced?

  • Great review! I like this car, just wish I had the cash to buy one. :(

  • hydraulic hybrid would been better.

  • Wouldn't it be better to couple a hybrid system to a manual transmission and implement a charging system when you switch to a lower gear and decelerate? I'm still not sold on CVT transmissions yet.
