The battle will be raging again november 12th 2008 the. New BattleTech inspired Combat sim for secondlife. Fully Scripted combat system with customizable mechs and gear. Based off Battletech and Armored Core. Check it out @ Double X island or IM: Xxander Snook or Shanobe Weyland for details.

Right, I am a Noob! But just d/l Mechwarrior 4. Its free now! What is battletech? Is it fans of mechs? Second Life as well, can you play games in it, mods like these? I thought you just bough furniture and crap!?

oh and if you guys that don't know what second life is it is not a mech war(exept you can make one)it is like a REAL second life.... exept lindens are so cheap. witch is good. lol. but still coooool and creator pls awswer question.

its a shame its so glitchy even in this day and age, and that the people who run it treat their customers like crap. The lack of a competitor in SL has made them and their groupies rather smug.
Nothing like buying a mech, not getting the parts it says it has, being told they're illegally using the design just to trick fans of it to buy it, doesnt play like the original mech, and that in new versions they dont always give you an updated version for free.

Looks more like it was inspired by Armored core than Mechwarrior, those mechs have little bulk, almost Gundam like thin torsos, mechwarrior (battletech) are larger.
