NICE intro ! The red LED digital numbers are simply awesome.WNBC had the same music,but without the red LED's.Local TV news today is incredibly boring.

@myronfalwell You are very well informed regarding the local TV news industry.Prior to this Roker was at WTVH Syracuse which does not even have their own local news anymore ! (they get it from WSTM now).

@DrSurprise That's because NBC owned WKYC at the time.
Del Donahoo and Tom Sweeney were rarities in that they stayed with Channel 3 for several decades during NBC ownership, otherwise the network operated WKYC as a "farm team" primarily for WNBC-TV (Al Roker was the most notable 'promotion.')
