Luna Park Sydney ... just for fun!

Australia's historic Luna Park Sydney sits at Milsons Point at the foot of Sydney Harbour Bridge. Originally opened in 1935, it has the feel of an old time amusement park, although there are plenty of fantastic rides. Chief among them is the wooden Wild Mouse rollercoaster, currently the only permanent roller coaster in New South Wales.

It 's a long way from the UK and it might well have been a once in a lifetime trip, but I'm really glad I got the opportunity to experience the unique atmosphere and fantastic environment of Luna Park. And if you don't know the rather turbulent history of the park, I'd recommend finding out about it!
