  • Hi Jerome,

thank you for your reply. This vehicle is now my fathers next project. Could you help me try to find out which company carried out the conversion work, as we would like to return it to its post war converted condition and spec.

    thanks

  • The engine is what i believe still the original one.

  • Hi Stu

I checked with my friend who knew about this crawler. He, like you, looked for documents on the transformation; but did not find anything. He only found that the job was done by a small shop in Fontainbleau, south of Paris. It was a one man mecanic shop and the place does not exist anymore. Sorry. Jerome

  • Stu; I will ask my friend about it

    Cheers

    Jerome

  • you certainly have the running gear of an M-29 Weasel here - original engine, tracks, and even shifter. I wonder what happened to the M-29 body? What a shame someone ruined it like this.
