@nosvaructu You may disagree, but people have disarmed muggers, and some have tried and lost their lives. I personally think it's better to put up a fight, i may lose my life or get injured but hey, thats how some things are.

@nosvaructu Let me rephrase since you obviously didn't understand what i said. Any time they use a gun to mug you, you'll see the gun. That is all you need, i never claimed you couldn't be shot. I claimed what YOU need to defend yourself is the ability to see the gun, or a general idea where it is. If they try to pick a fight with a gun, i think thats a big mistake. Well trained martial artist could toss someone off the center of balance, can't aim with no balance. Can still get shot

@narutardtedr and low but still very visible from the front*

@nosvaructu Shooting from the hip gives a very limited and inaccurate shot. Though a person if they practiced could shoot as if it were infront of their face. But why would someone mug you with a gun in their pocket? It will be to your back if they want your money from behind, and low but still very visible and you could strike like that. No one goes "Give me your money" with their gun hidden from the person they're trying to use it on.

@narutardtedr I study martial arts and guns, but I have no illusion that they guy with the gun has the advantage, if you were close I would draw from my conceal carry and proceed to shoot from the hip by aiming just with my body using volume of fire versus accuracy. I have no reason to disarm someone unless they are psycho, rather just give up my wallet in most cases.

@TheBlooMonster Tonfa are designed against hand weapons, and if you think a gun makes you safe, then you obviously don't know martial arts. As gun disarms are VERY effective when the right person uses it (Both back and front). So unless you plan on mugging a guy by shooting him from 10 feet away, a gun won't help. That is unless you're just a killer and have no need to get close and just shoot at random people. In which case you better have pinpoint aim, if you miss they're gone.
