in all fairness to Green Day: the members haven't lost touch with their roots, just Green Day. i'm certain that if The Network, or Pinhead Gunpowder wanted to a US tour playing in small clubs and basements between next week and mid-January they could...the smallest local venue Green Day can play at is either Fenway, or the garden.

god I'm born at least 20 years to late! I dream of the time when mainstream music had soul and the alternative scene was crazy an exciting. now it's just a bunch of arrogant people who think they're music experts because they know some bands who aren't playing in the charts.
