Very well done! I really like your tempo. I honestly don't know what temp Tarrega wrote it for, but given the title (The Tear), I think it does the song interpretive injustice to rush it. It should flow and be emotional and moody...just as you have played it.
Bravo!

Great tone. Ive heard that you should use a special oil for gut strings and they last a lot longer.

Sympathetic interpretation, Rob. I think the temptation can be to hurry this piece, which I've been guilty of myself !
Appropriate choice , as well - I think I read that Tarrega himself played with no nails, as he thought the tone produced too "hard".
Cheers, Jim.

Thank you for a sensitive and intimate rendition of that beautiful piece. I heard that the piece depicts tears and I could feel that in your beautiful performance. Thanks also for the idea of using gut and silk strings. It somehow adds sparkle to the tone.

Very inspirining for my little daughter.
She's starting with Lagrima too.
Congratulations
Thank you for the information on these strings, I just ordered them a day ago and didn't know if they were going to be any good. Great piece of work you've learned there, and thank you again for your information on these strings, been wanting something rather than nylon. One bit of information I require though, do you play with or without finger nails? as I am used to playing with them and think it may damage the gut strings.

I play without nails...
If you keep your nails smooth there should be no problem.
