  • Hi, Jolene!

Are you sure it calls for a teaspoon of butter? Butter is marked for tablespoons. My daughter has been winning competitions for years with her microwave peanut brittle - she uses spanish peanuts. (and a tablespoon of butter, among other things)

  • RadiantSunset :)

Can you ever have too much butter? :)

A teaspoon is what I use because I must admit I add more vanilla in things than I may state in the videos :) I'm a vanilla fan :) Things get a bit too soupy and don't seem to get crispy enough when I add more butter..

    But, a tablespoon can't hurt :)

    So good to see you!

    Love,

  • You should make a pie with the pretzel and sugar crust!

  • qiranger!

Way back in my archives, is a Christmas special called Gelatin Salad, it's a Strawberry Gelatin dessert and about my holiday traditions with it... I don't think anyone watched it.. LOL

    Love You!

  • @McTacobell808 hahahahahahahahaha best comment i've ever read

  • This is soooooo good!! It came out perfect! I never thought you could skip all that cooking on the stove to achieve the same result in 10 mins in the microwave!! I used 1 Tbs of butter instead of 1 tsp and it was awesome! No more guessing if it's at the candy stage again!!! I do have one question

Can you make a double batch or will it not get hot enough??
