This video exists because people are emotional robots and using logic alone is not enough. Since humans won't put the motor where it should go to be logical I placed it where you can go ahead and be an emotional robot.
Why it should not be on the bike with a propeller:
This motor if geared will peel out up hills on a mountain bike and go 30-40mph on flat in high gear.
Why it is:
No idea how to gear it into bike and neither do bike shops.
Because some people do have a brain and a garage this video is to show case its power pushing with propeller on flat at 20mph Over 50 comments relating to danger have been deleted. Note this is made specifically because we spent months and hundreds of dollars trying to gear this to a bicycle and were turned down at every corner when asking for help. To visually demonstrate the overlooked power of brushless outrunners and lithium polymer batteries to powered bicycle industry this video was made at my own time and expense in order to speed the development of brushless motors assisting the EXISTING gear set on a bicycle. Due to lack of innovators the usual response is that the hub makes people happy so this project is abandoned. This video is for you to take it to the next step if you have the balls and savvy to do so. Reacting with comments about danger immediately puts you in a class of non-innovators as you do not understand the purpose of the video or the hardships behind it. Viewing and simply reacting is a low value activity. Man up and add onto technology instead of putting your hands at your cheeks and screaming.
