BEAUTIFUL video! Keep 'em coming!

I did that once when I was landing a Blade 400 on a piece of plywood. Somehow it got a little sideways and the rotor struck the edge... smithereens! Quite a bit less an "up-planned mishap" than the loss of your Hughes but I learned a valuable lesson. Loved the video, especially the low pass of the Pitts over the airfield in the sunlight. BEAUTIFUL! Cheers ;-)

Very saddened to hear of the passing of the Hughes 500. Was a lovely ship, what happened?

@jjm0580 There was a piece of plywood that Jamie was using as a landing pad which apparently had one corner a little off the ground and he hooked a skid and it was all over in the blink of an eye.

@gubber123456 The Hughes 500 isn't mine, still a sad day. It will be in the next video and I'm thinking about doing a memorial at the end "Rest In Pieces."
