This song IS David Houston. radarcountry, let sleeping dogs lie. He was a wonderful singer. His personal life is his own business. He brought happiness to many people. Unless you were THERE you don't know everything. Rumors fly, reputations are hurt. No matter what, David was a wonderful singer.

Widow Cathy put all the money up her nose, N'ville don't need middleaged acts on coke/went back to Bossier City with David Jr, Broke & alone she got engaged to my dad, they tried to revive her career. He kicked her to the curb before the wedding. She overdoesed (aka brain hemorrage), jr went to the grandparents at 12 years old. probably in jail if they died off..He was spoiled rotten, worst kid I knew.
