http://www.DadLabs.com - In this episode of Gear Daddy, Daddy Troy is joined by Aruni Gunasegaram, President of Babblesoft.com as they review Babblesoft's web-based software which facilitates communication between caregivers. Track your newborn baby's sleeping, feeding, diaper changes and medicines and trade information between parents, caregivers, nannies, babysitters, etc. Nice graphs. It even lets you pick mustard, brown and green as the colors of the baby poop when recording the diaper changes. Can you keep track of 7 infants? Babblesoft can. DadLabs ep. 260 Gear Daddy.

  • its not my fault the kid died of starvation, the graph sayed he'd been fed...

  • Perhaps the time spent logging the kids poop, pee, eating, sleeping, yawning, burping, attempting to roll over, sighing, digesting, spitting up, gazing around, crapping, cooing, gurgling, sneezing, coughing, crying, etc - could be - oh, I don't know - PLAYING WITH THE FRICKIN' BABY!!! If the parents are so anal-retentive they need software to track the size, color, smell and shape of their kids crap - perhaps they should have just gotten a dog. Get a GRIP, People!!!

  • Can't we do ANYTHING without having to drag a computer into it?! Seems to me that if you're so obsessed with your computer that you should think twice about having children in the first place.

  • lol...

  • Okay, don't go back 50 yrs, go back 30 years then or even 30 years. Schools have gotten so for lack of a better word "pussified". It is my opinion that schools now want to concentrate on placating the kid. When I was in lower school teachers/principals paddled unruly kids and you can be damn sure that they got the same at home b/c disrespect was not tolerated. Now it seems that parents teach their kids to disrespect rather than the opposite.

  • as a former nanny/daycare instr. i can tell you there are definitely the anal types that i encountered. i had run-ins w/ parents that obsessed over their kids diaper changers to how much juice they had (mind you the cups are already small). its frustrating when your paid to watch & entertain the child(s) and you end up having to police every blasted small thing that you don't have time for the actually duty of child rearing.

  • Seems like maybe this product would be better targeted at DayCare centers rather than individual parents.

  • I'm not going to argue with you. Your rhetoric is abysmal at best. It is completely irrelevant to add that 50 years ago there were no school shootings...

P.S. 50 years ago there were segregated schools, so I can see what you were implying.

Please don't reply to this, what you want to say should never be heard by anyone.

In the end, this program is stupid, but so is the fact that old assholes like you can get on the internet and voice your shitty, uneducated opinion.

  • thank you!

Welcome to the god damn future!
