  • Ever since I randomly hit the buttons on a chord organ, I've always found it interesting that random chords sound musical. I think the mind imparts it's own order to what it hears. - Very nice work. I enjoyed.

  • @karlmahlmann @karlmahlmann Thanks for the comment! Yes, I agree the mind imparts its own order to what it hears (as well as sees), and injecting random principles to composition is a really fascinating way to explore that. I also have a video where I rolled dice to generate random chords for improvisation on flugelhorn.
