7 29 11~3 Juvenile Great Horned Owlets released ba

7-29-11; Friday evening we were blessed to be able to release three baby Great Horned Owlets. The location of the release site was breathtaking. Two of these three owlets we had the pleasure of rescuing at this location back on the week of June this year, here is a brief video of the owls coming out of a dark box before release.

Kari Jones a 5 year volunteer with our Portland, Oregon and an also 5 year veteran of rapture rescue & rehabilitation is in this video. In the background is the rescuer of two of these 3 Great Horned Owlets, Christopher Birdman Driggins of N W Bird Rescue located in Vancouver Washington.
